What we’ve been up to this week and some thank you’s!

It’s been a busy week; last Saturday the 9th we attended two fantastic workshops facilitated by Dublin Community Growers at The Dublin Food Co-op in Newmarket Square.  The workshops were ‘Starting a co-operative enterprise’ and ‘Starting a community garden’, and we found them both very helpful and informative, and everyone really friendly with lots of great info and ideas.  So huge thanks to all who were involved.

We also got to visit Weaver Square Community Garden, which is really well done and very impressive.

On Tuesday we paid a quick visit to Shanganagh Community Garden to have a little look around – many thanks to Paul Walsh for being so welcoming, letting us have a little snoop and showing us their composting set-up; the worm composter was fantastic.

And once again we’d like to extend our gratitude to all of the wonderful volunteers who continue to amaze us with their generosity, skill and positive energy – without them this project would not be possible.
