A selection of Photos from the Heritage Community Garden

Standard

Here is an album of photos from the various events and snapshots over about a year at the Heritage Community Garden. We hope you enjoy them. As you can see, in a short space of time the garden has become a thriving community around it.

The polytunnel and raised beds are in, the trees have been properly pruned for the spring for the first time in decades and plans are afoot to refurbish the shed using sustainable hemp lime materials into a cosy community gathering & workshop space and café.

We intend having a cycle repair & maintenance hub in one of the sheds and are talking to potential partners about setting that up. Many local community and sustainable organisations are talking to us with a view to partnering to provide FETAC training in organic horticulture plus many workshops on sustainable techniques such as hemp lime building, compost tea, herb spirals, living willow fencing, growing & preparing herbs, Homeopathy in the Garden and more.
